Do you fabricate extensions, or retrofit weldments for equipment already in the field?
Yes. We fabricate bin, stand, and hopper extensions to add height or capacity, and retrofit or reinforcement weldments for existing plant equipment. We match the original structure and detailing so the addition integrates cleanly and performs as part of the whole.
Can you reproduce an existing bin stand or support assembly in repeat production?
Yes, and if you are standardizing a weldment across multiple plants, this is where it matters most. Using fixtures and documented processes, we reproduce your proven design reliably from the first unit through ongoing runs, so it fits and installs the same way every time, at every site.
What materials do you fabricate bins, stands, and extensions from?
Carbon steel (A36) and stainless steel (304 and 316) make up the majority of our work. We also work in abrasion-resistant plate (Hardox and other AR grades) for wear surfaces and aluminum for weight-sensitive parts, along with other common grades as required. We match the material to the load, wear, and corrosion requirements of each application.
Are your welders certified?
Yes. Our welders are certified to AWS D1.1, the American Welding Society structural steel welding code, and we have a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) on staff to verify our work. Our welding team carries more than 150 years of combined experience, with core welders each bringing over 20 years on load-bearing structural weldments.
Can you build to our drawings, or do you provide engineering?
Both. If you have complete drawings, we fabricate to your specification. If you have a load requirement, a field measurement, or a rough concept, our in-house engineering team can develop a manufacturable, structurally sound weldment and review it with you before anything is welded. That saves you the cost and delay you might have with a separate engineering firm.
What bins, stands, and extensions does Uzelac Industries fabricate for concrete batch plants?
We fabricate aggregate bin stands and bin support weldments, aggregate holding hopper and cement weigh batcher support assemblies, batcher and hopper support assemblies, truck hopper support assemblies, structural stands and support frames, and extensions and retrofit weldments for existing equipment. We build to your drawings or engineer the weldment from your load and layout requirements, in carbon steel, stainless steel, abrasion-resistant plate, or aluminum.
